Our Story
In the 1960s, South Korea was still finding its footing. Resources were limited, but one boy’s curiosity was limitless. From a young age, Seol JaeCheol was fascinated by how things worked. He would take apart televisions and tape recorders piece by piece—not to break them, but to understand them.
By junior high, that curiosity turned into creation. He built his first speaker system, sold it to classmates, and earned his very first profit. It was a small success, but it lit a fire that would never fade.
After graduation, Seol had the opportunity to step into a secure executive role at a major company. Instead, he chose a more uncertain path—pursuing his own dream of creating car care products that were unlike anything on the market. Armed with nothing but determination, he loaded his truck with products each morning and went door to door at local detailing shops.
At first, no one was interested. He faced rejection after rejection, even being thrown out of shops. But instead of quitting, he adapted. He realized that building trust and relationships mattered just as much as the product itself. He started visiting shops not as a salesman, but as a friend—sharing a smile, a piece of gum, or a Coke. Slowly, doors opened. His knowledge impressed shop owners, and soon his products were in demand across Suncheon city.
But Seol wasn’t content with simply selling products. He wanted to innovate. He saw that existing car care solutions were too basic—they didn’t truly enhance a vehicle’s beauty. That vision led him to create something new: his own line of premium detailing products.
From that vision, TACSYSTEM was born.
Today, TACSYSTEM is a global brand, trusted by professionals and enthusiasts worldwide. But at its core, it remains true to the same spirit it started with: curiosity, resilience, and the relentless drive to create products that push the boundaries of car care.
